Interpretation and Education
Most of the interpreting I have done has through California State Parks as a Park Aide. I also help instruct volunteers on sampling methods for Southwest Wetlands Interpretive Association.
Interpretation at the Tijuana Estuary Visitor Center
Displays, leading bird walks, helping with educational presentations, helping with self-guided tours, creating educational material, creating self-guided tours through Agents of Discovery. Leading walks in english and spanish. Tabling. Creating scripts for Tuesday Live Series.
Research Method Instruction with Southwest Wetlands

Employee Training
I have trained new and upcoming staff at the Tijuana Estuary Visitor Center in the Park Aide duties and responsibilities. I also created the first Park Aide Manual in the Reserve, which provides instructions in detail on everyday tasks and other how-to’s.
